The Butter Chip Bakery started out as a dream of a little girl sitting on her mom's counter cracking eggs into the mixer. "Mom, I want to be a baker when I'm big!" Fast forward 20 some odd years later and here we are. Owner and head baker Lauren Zych opened The Butter Chip in January of 2018 as an online bakery, taking orders online then delivering personally in a minimum of 48 hours, based in the New Palestine and Greenfield, IN areas.

Since then, things have taken off. We now supply Hometown Classic Pizza in Greenfield, IN and Small Town Shoppes in New Palestine, IN with cookies for purchase weekly, along with the online orders.

Our mission is to provide fresh baked, gourmet cookies in flavors and combinations that range from classic to out of this world. We pride ourselves on being unique, providing fresh product, and going above and beyond for our customers.

Lauren and The Butter Chip Bakery were the winners of Greenfield Main Street's Pitch Night Event in July of 2018. In this Shark Tank style competition we won over $18,000 worth of prizes provided by the city and local businesses, including our store front! We are extremely excited for this opportunity and can't wait to get our doors open in early 2019!
